Being a craftsman is all about being concise, in fact you’ve probably heard the saying “Measure twice, cut once”. This is what we live by. Being exact in our measurements and clear about what we set out to do (and achieving it) is how our family works.
The attitude of accepting responsibility for something, whether it’s good or bad, it’s a big part of our culture. It’s important to us that you have the courage to own up to any mistakes, so we can work together as a team to find a solution. Our craftsmen feel a proud sense of ownership when they appreciate their work, knowing they have created something really special.
Our furniture is lifelong and so are the relationships we create as a team with one another. The ability to work alongside people is important.
The heart and soul of our family is innovation and creativity, one cannot come without the other. Having the ability to change and grow and become better allows us all to flourish and evolve. Whether it’s individually, or as a team every single one of us brings something unique to the table.
If you’re noble you’re honourable, honest, decent and reputable. These qualities are essential. We all have to trust each other to do our jobs right, because our reputation is as one.
Trust is key, whether it’s with customers or with our team. Our customers trust us to create something beautiful, and in turn we depend on each other to create the best possible finished product.
As a craftsman you have to be exceptionally good at what you do. All the members of our family are masterful in their areas. If you’re great at what you do and passionate about it then we’ll fit together like a mortise and tenon joint.
It’s important that our environment is a place where people can grow and develop. We continually encourage our team to excel in their trade, whether it’s developing an existing skill or learning a new one. We want you if you’re ready to improve and have an unrelenting drive to better yourself.
