Colinton Furniture is an established bespoke furniture manufacturer with over one hundred years of experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke furniture.
The company was established in 1883 and was originally called Craighouse Cabinet Works. In 1985 the MacKay family took ownership and renamed the business Colinton Furniture.
Our Attitude
We pride ourselves in the attention to detail and quality of our work. Each item produced is unique to take on the individual requirements of our client. We feel at that our bespoke furniture is an investment, not a disposable commodity, and you should not have to compromise to restricted production methods and get a piece of furniture that does not quite meet your requirements. Our bespoke furniture is made by people not automated machines.
We enjoy our customer involvement in choice of materials and approval of designs. You are welcome to visit the factory to see our craftsmen at work on your furniture. A visit will show you the individual hands on attention we give to each commission.
